Learn How To Play Pontoon
Pontoon is a great varition poker game to the classic Blackjack and it's being a very popular table in casinos.
Below are the identical rules of Pontoon apart from classic Blackjack game:
- Each deck of cards in Pontoon shall consist of 48 cards, without the jokers and the 4 "Tens".
- Players hit a "Pontoon hand" when the initial 2 cards dealt are an Ace and a Picture card,
- Players get paid immediately when hit a Pontoon or 21 points
- Dealer must draw card on soft 17.
- Players can surrender half of the initial bet only when the dealer's first card is an Ace or a Picture card. If dealer hit Pontoon, the surrender bet will be considered void.
- Players can double their bets on any initial 2 cards. If the initial 2 cards consist of an Ace, the Ace will only be count as 1, not 11.
- Players can double their bets at any stage of drawing cards. Example, if you drew 4 cards and hit 11, you can double your bets to increase your winning.
- Pontoon has its own special bonus payout to winning hands. Please read the following table as a sample of Bonus Payouts in Pontoon:
