Insurance Bet
Little tip on playing Pontoon
Players have an option to buy insurance bet when dealer is holding an Ace.
Insurance bet payout is the same as classic Blackjack, if dealer hits Pontoon,
insurance bet winning payout is 2 to 1. Example, $10 insurance bet wins $20.
As a recommendation, it's always not worth to buy insurance in Pontoon.
Because there is no "10s" in this game, the chance of dealer hitting Pontoon is much lower
than classic Blackjack.
Say for example playing in a Pontoon table using 6 deck of cards.
If dealer is holding an Ace, the chance for dealer to get a picture is 72/287 (72 picture cards in total of 287 cards),
which is approximately 25%. That means for average, dealer will hit a Pontoon once in very 4 times when he is holding an Ace.
But the insurance bet winning payout is only 2 to 1, which it suppose to be pay 3 to 1,
so it's definitely not worth to buy insurance bet.
